Staff Geologist
We seek an enthusiastic
individual for an exciting opportunity with one of Florida’s most
respected geophysical and geologic consulting firms. This position
requires a Bachelor’s degree in geology and experience in performing
geophysical surveys to evaluate subsurface soil conditions and geologic
conditions at various sites in Florida. This is a full time, salaried
position based in our Tampa office.

Inc. is a geophysical and geologic consulting firm providing
high-tech, specialty surveys and hydrogeologic evaluations to leading
geotechnical engineering companies, environmental consultants and
government agencies in the southeastern United States. Our mission is to
provide expertise in evaluating subsoil geologic conditions, assessing
potential sinkhole development, and conducting surveys for the detection
of buried utilities.

Job Description
Overview: Conduct geophysical studies and apply
your geologic knowledge to deliver excellent products and service to our
clients.
Daily activities include:
- Conduct geophysical surveys and other types of
consulting projects.
o
Must be experienced in Ground Penetrating Radar (GSSI
equipment preferred), Electrical Resistivity Imaging (AGI equipment),
Electromagnetic Surveys, Seismic Surveys, and other geophysical
techniques.
- Communicate with clients
concerning survey results, project status, and alternative applications.
- Assist in the completion of
in-office reports.
- Use computer software on a daily basis to
accomplish tasks, (i.e. Windows, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel),
Email, and other geophysical software).
- Complete other tasks, as assigned.

- Demonstrates strong problem solving and analytical
skills.
- Demonstrates strong teamwork skills.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Required Qualifications

2-3 years experience.
·
Bachelor’s Degree in Geology.
·
Must be willing to travel within Florida or the southeast
US, occasionally requiring overnight stays out of town.

Must be physically fit and able to conduct physical outdoor
work.
·
Must have a satisfactory driving record.
·
