SW Florida International Airport, Ft. Meyers, FL
SEI was awarded the task of completing approx. 200,000 linear feet of survey. On a tight schedule, due to the client wanting to finish without any down time to the airport, SEI chose its fastest GPR equipment. Using a GSSI SIR-20 control unit (which can collect 2 channels simultaneously) , a 400 MHz (for shallow) and a 200 MHz (for depth) antenna, ATV Gator, and a Trimble GPS unit, SEI completed the task of scanning within the budgeted time frame. Purpose of the survey was yearly preventative maintenance, sinkhole and void detection.
