experience to apply to your project. All operators are certified by the
equipment manufactures. Detailed resumes are available in out in our
Statement of Qualifications, at right. Key personnel that you will
talk to are listed below.
Robert J. Wilson, President
Mr. Wilson took the helm at SEI in 2005 after a
transition period following his father's, William L. Wilson, passing. He has 10 years
of experience in business finance; working for Wells Fargo & Company, IKON
Office Solutions, and Regions Finance Corp. Before his finance
career, and subsequent return to SEI, Mr. Wilson assisted in in many years
of GPR surveys with his late father. Mr. Wilson received his
M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida in 2004 and a B.S. in
Accounting from the University of Florida in 1995. He is also a Certified
Radar Operator.
Carl R. L. Brown, P.G., Regional Manager
Mr. Brown has more than 35 years of experience in
Environmental, Geophysical and Geotechnical Engineering and holds
registrations as a licensed professional Geologist in the state of Florida
(#187) and North Carolina (#1681). He is also recognized as a Certified
Professional Geologist (#6057) by the AIPG. Mr. Brown has extensive
experience in the performance of geophysical surveys, including ground
penetrating radar (GPR), electrical resistivity imaging (ERI), seismic,
and gravimetric surveys, environmental site assessments, contamination
assessments, hydrogeologic studies, evaluation of aquifer parameters and
characteristics, geotechnical studies and physical soils testing. Mr.
Brown has also provided expert witness testimony in the cause of failure
analysis related to sinkhole studies and the land application of spray
effluent. Mr. Brown received his B.A. degree in Geology in 1972 from the
University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida and completed additional
course studies in Fortran computer programming, Hydrogeology and Advanced
Hydrogeology in 1980. Mr. Brown is also certified under OSHA 40-hour
HAZWOPER and Supervisor training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120.
Scott F. Purcell,
Project Manager
Mr. Purcell has more than 6 years of
experience in the design and implementation of Geophysical and
Geotechnical Engineering investigations. Geophysical experience includes
the use of ground penetrating radar (GPR), electrical resistivity (ERI and
CCR), seismic reflection and refraction, electromagnetic (EM), and global
positioning system (GPS) equipment. Geotechnical experience includes
direct push technology (DPT) using a Geoprobe 54-LT track mounted machine
for cone penetrometer testing (CPT), and soil and groundwater sampling.
Mr. Purcell holds a B.A. degree in Psychology, a B.S. degree in Zoology,
and is currently a B.S. Hydrogeology candidate at the University of South
Florida (USF) in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Purcell is also certified under OSHA
40-hour HAZWOPER in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120.
